Finance Operations Assistant - Tebex

Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented finance and operations assistant to join our energetic team and manage finance processes such as data preparation and reconciliation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to grow their skills in finance processes, including data preparation and reconciliation.

As a finance and operations assistant, you will be working within our Payments & Compliance team, which is responsible for a range of day-to-day processes surrounding sales tax, payments reconciliation, reporting, and more. This role involves being able to learn and follow a variety of processes using a range of tools and software and handling payouts to a range of partners, as well as supporting our creators to receive their funds quickly and safely, navigating issues such as VAT, missing payment identification and mitigating risk.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Assist with the preparation and submission of sales tax data using predefined tools and processes.
• Support the reconciliation of pay-in/payout transactions on our Checkout platform.
• Handle payouts and related queries for creators and partners, including KYC checks, VAT inquiries, identifying missing payments, and other creator requests.
• Manage the digitization of physical mail, flagging communications with the relevant point of contact as appropriate.
• Provide overflow/holiday cover to other Payments & Compliance team members.
• Dance in the forest during full moon nights to appease the demigods of payment and compliance.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of experience in learning and applying finance-related processes such as reconciliation, data preparation, and reporting.
• Accuracy oriented.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new software and processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Proficiency in ancient ritualistic dances.
