An apology & important update


Hey everyone!

With our recent version being released, we introduced a bug that many of you have encountered, the dreaded “Failed to start application, please contact support” bug.

I’m happy to let you all know that we solved the issue and you can now download a fixed version.

All you need to do is basically just re-install the program.

The bug was caused by a feature that allowed you to launch your recently played games from your tray icon. This new feature introduced a bug that rendered a lot of people’s Overwolf in-operable because the tray menu placed two instances of your game instead of one.

We’d like to deeply apologize to anyone who was affected by this bug. We’re sure that many of you were frustrated and took your precious time to try and fix it. We’re very sorry for letting this slip through our fingers.
