The story behind Overwolf
Overwolf is a startup company founded by avid gamers. As such, they have identified the need for a tool which helps one to stay connected to the real life while playing computer games. Although similar tools already have been developed, they lacked in user experience and functionality. Overwolf offers a simple, intuitive interface, a great user experience and most importantly, it never interferes with the game.
By bringing the most important social media tools into the game in a simple and easy way, Overwolf has quickly established itself as a pioneer of social media integration in games.

"With major companies like Activision releasing social networks for their own games like Call of Duty Elite--and Xbox 360 having cross-game social features since its launch--the desire to share is certainly there. Services like Overwolf are only the beginning, so it might not be long before the word "social game" becomes moot."
